¡Hola a tod@s, soy la maestra Rachel! Nací acá en Minnesota, y ser bilingüe es algo que ha sido muy importante para mi y para mi familia desde que yo era muy joven. Empecé mi profesión como maestra en Sevilla, España, donde daba clases de inglés en una Escuela Oficial de Idiomas. Cuando volví a Minneapolis, trabajé como maestra de Inglés para adultos en West Saint Paul y Minneapolis también. Llegué a Emerson en 2019, y sigo trabajando la mayoría del tiempo con los jóvenes de Kinder. Es un gran privilegio ser parte de una comunidad tan bella como la comunidad de Emerson. ¡Mucho gusto!

Hi everyone, I’m Maestra Rachel! I was born here in Minnesota, and being bilingual is something I’ve been passionate about since I was very young. I started my career as a teacher in Seville, Spain where I worked with adults teaching English. When I returned to Minneapolis, I worked as an English teacher for adults in West Saint Paul, and then Minneapolis, too. I started at Emerson in 2019, and I continue to work most of the time with youth in Kindergarten. I consider it a great privilege to be a part of the beautiful Emerson community. So nice to meet you!
