Me llamo Cristobal Alvarez. Soy de España y vivo en Estados Unidos desde 1997. Soy un gran aficionado al deporte y al fútbol en especial. También me encanta viajar, leer e ir al cine. Tengo 2 hijos que también fueron a una escuela bilingue y les encanta el fútbol como a su papá.
Este es mi cuarto año en Emerson pero antes trabajé en la escuela de Imersión de Robbinsdale durante 18 años, tres en Marruecos y uno en Espana. Estoy muy ilusionado con un nuevo curso escolar donde empezaremos a aprender desde la casa.
Una de las novedades de este curso escolar es que la tarea diaria será la de leer 20 minutos diarios en cualquiera de los dos idiomas. Es muy importante que sus hijos lean todos los días. Hello and welcome to third grade.
My name is Cristobal Alvarez. I am from Spain and have lived in the United States since 1997. I love all sports, especially soccer. I also love traveling, reading and going to the movies. I have 2 sons that also attended a bilingual school and love soccer like their dad.
This is year 4 teaching at Emerson but I worked at Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion School for 18 years, 3 in Morocco, and 1 in Spain. I am very excited with this new school year in which we will do Distance Learning.
One of the new things in third grade is homework. I decided that homework is going to be daily reading for 20 minutes in the language your child prefers.
