Emerson SILC warmly welcomes the following partnerships:

 Philips Eye Institute's  Early Youth Eyecare (E.Y.E.) Community Initiative coordinates and funds vision care for MPS students in pre-K through the start of 9th grade, at no cost to families or the school district.  

Citizens for a Loring Park Community has included a contribution to the Emerson Media Center in their Phase II Neighbor Revitalization Plan. CLPC continues to be a great support to Emerson SILC

Wooddale Church has graciously contributed to providing funding and volunteer support to carry out the Sheridan Story Free Weekend Food Program. They continuously donate and show support for the Emerson community through their #WeAreFor campaign, they have provided school supplies for students at the beggining of the school year  and contributed new coats, hats and gloves in December to keep out students warm. 

The Sheridan Story provides Emerson students free food to take home for the weekend and school breaks. This great program partners with Spirit Garage and Windsor Financial Group to support of students in need of food over the weekend and school breaks.

Captrust partners with The Sheridan Story and Wooddale Church to provide financial support and volunteers to support the Emerson Weekend Food Program.

EPG Security Group partners with Windsor Financial Group, The Sheridan Story and Spirit Garage to provide financial support and volunteers to support the Emerson Weekend Food Program.

Hyatt Hotel supports Emerson through special project volunteers to distribute food as part the Emerson's Free Weekend Food Program.

Children's Dental Services provides on-site free dental care for Emerson students.

Minneapolis South Rotary Club donates school supplies to us in the fall and warm hat and gloves in the winter.

StarBase Minnesota offers all 4th graders a chance to increase their knowledge, skills and interest in science, math, engineering and technology through aerospace education. This week long workshop takes place the MN Air National Guard 133rd Airlift Wing.

Audubon Center of the Northwoods hosts 5th graders each spring for three days of a rich environmental program nestled in the "woods" of central Minnesota.

Communidades Latinos Unidas En Servicio (CLUES) provides ongoing care and support to foster optimal mental, physical and social wellbeing to Latino families.  CLUES offers many educational opportunities to our Emerson Families

Centro’s truancy prevention program for Hispanic students with attendance issues meets with Emerson staff, students and families on a bi-weekly to assist families with issues preventing student’s from attending school daily. Centro also offers after school program to support our students.

Elerder's Wisdom Children's Song Program helps Emerson 4th graders create books about prominent Twin Cities people who make a difference for children of all ages.

The University of Minnesota, Hamline, St Thomas, and St. Mary’s, University of Wisconsin , Stout are just a few of the colleges and universities that have students volunteering at Emerson.
