Caitlin Cowan, K-1 EL Teacher

I'm Ms. Caitlin. I started teaching at Emerson School on 2016. I teach English as a Second Language to 1st grade students, helping them learn the English that they will need to be successful in school, work and life. 
 
I am also the MTSS Coordinator at Emerson, collaborating with school staff to track student progress and follow-up to make sure that all students get the support they need.
 
I live in Minneapolis with my husband, who is also a MPS teacher, and my two daughters, who both attend Minneapolis schools. I love reading and walking in our beautiful Minnesota parks.

Soy Ms. Caitlin. He trabajado en Emerson desde el 2016. Enseño inglés como segundo idioma a alumnos en primer grado, ayudándolos a aprender el inglés que necesitan para tener éxito en la escuela, el trabajo, y la vida.

 

También soy la coordinadora de MTSS en Emerson, colaborando con el personal de la escuela para rastrear el progreso de los estudiantes y asegurar que todos reciben el apoyo que necesitan.

 

Vivo en Minneapolis con mi esposo, quien es maestro también, y mis dos hijas, quienes asisten a escuelas en Minneapolis. Me encanta leer y caminar en nuestros parques bonitos de Minnesota.
