Me llamo Sra. Grangaard. Llevo treinta y cuatro años enseñando; los últimos once años en Windom. Este es mi primer año enseñando en Emerson. Soy la Especialista de Lectura en Inglés para el quinto grado. Tengo experiencia con estudiantes de la edad de kinder hasta el nivel universitario en programas bilngües de inmersión, de español y de inglés como segundo idioma.
Soy una persona muy energética. Me gusta caminar, montar bicilceta, acampar y viajar en kayak, esquiar, hacer yoga y viajar por el mundo. También, me gusta leer, trabajar en mis jardines y cocinar. Lo que más me gusta hacer es estar con mi familia, especialmente mi nieto de dos años.

My name is Ms. Grangaard. I've been teaching for thirty-four years; the last eleven years at Windom. This is my first year teaching at Emerson. I am the English Reading Specialist for the fifth grade. I have experience with students from kindergarten through college level in bilingual, immersion, Spanish and English as a Second Language programs.
I am a very energetic person. I like walking, bike riding, camping and kayaking, skiing, yoga and traveling the world. Also, I like to read, work in my gardens and cook. What I like to do the most is to be with my family, especially my two-year-old grandson.
