Empezaré por decirles que me siento muy afortunado de ser parte de la comunidad de Emerson. Permítanme que me presente. Nací hace ya muchos años en Puebla, México. Crecí en Chile y España, donde me gradué después de cuatro años de estudios en la Universidad de Navarra. Allí conocí a mi esposa que es española, y tenemos una hija que nació en España y un hijo que nació aquí, en Minneapolis. Después de completar un Master en Educación por la Universidad de Wisconsin-River Falls obtuve el Certificado de Director en la Universidad de Saint Mary.
Siempre me ha gustado practicar deportes. Los que más disfruto son el fútbol, el baloncesto y el golf. También me encanta leer buenos libros, y, si los que están cerca me dejan, me gusta cantar.
Durante 15 años ejercí como maestro de cuarto grado en Ramsey, y luego de primer grado en la escuela Windom de Doble Inmersión, en la que posteriormente trabajé como director durante otros siete años. Llevo más de veinte trabajando en el distrito de Minneapolis.

I will start by saying that I feel honored to be part of the Emerson community! Allow me to share a little bit about me. I was born many years ago in Puebla, Mexico. I grew up in Chile and Spain, where I also I graduated after 4 years of study from the University of Navarra. There I met my wife who is a Spaniard, and we have a daughter who was born in Spain and a son who was born here in Minneapolis.
I have always loved sports. The ones I enjoy playing the most are soccer, basketball and golf. I also enjoy reading good books and, if those around me allow it, I love to sing!
I have been in the Minneapolis District for more than 20 years. I was a teacher in MPS for 15 years, teaching 4th grade at Ramsey and 1st grade at Windom Dual Immersion School where I was also worked as Principal for 7 years
