November: Native American Arts, mandalas and geometry in art

Every school year, students see Art in the news, and want to learn more about it – Such as mural art, social justice, voting and exploring identity. We call this INQUIRY, and if our children ask us questions, it is an opportunity to investigate. We practice INQUIRY in the art room, and leave space for students to ask questions about the art they see. Thank you! It is an honor to work with your children!

Cada año los estudiantes ven arte en las noticias, y quieren aprender más de lo que escuchan -como por ejemplo muralismo, justicia social, votar y explorar la identidad. Ha esto lo llamamos INDAGAR, si los niños nos preguntan sobre algún tema, es una oportunidad para investigar. En la clase de arte practicamos INDAGAR, DESCUBRIR y le dejamos espacio a los estudiantes para hacer preguntas sobre el arte que ven. ¡Gracias! ¡Es un honor trabajar con sus niños!
